A Collection of World Class Car Care Products
Washing the exterior of your car is vital! However, you can't just use any grease-soaked sponge you have lying around! Your car needs to be washed with high-quality tools that are designed specifically for cars. This is the only way to not only clean your car most effectively, but also prevent causing further harm in the process!
If you want the most effective and safe car washing process, it will require a lot of different tools!
Ideally your car washing loadout would look like this:
Two buckets – One for your car wash solution and one to rinse your mitt, sponge, or brush between panels.
Two Grit Guards – By putting these in the bottom of your buckets, the dirt and particle sink below them so you don't accidentally scoop more up while you are rinsing or absorbing more car wash solution.
Two bucket dollies – These are more to save you the hassle of walking back and forth between your car and buckets by allowing you to wheel them with you as you wash.
A microfiber wash mitt, car wash sponge, or car wash brush – Whatever you are using to agitate the surface needs to be soft, capable of pulling contaminants off the surface and trapping them, and absorbent so it will hold as much of the lubricating car wash solution as possible.
A foam gun or foam cannon – Both of these will generate more foam, mix the car wash solution more thoroughly, and spray it onto the car much more consistently to ensure proper lubrication. They will also help to get rid of any loose debris before you even start washing.
A hose (or pressure washer if you are using a foam cannon) – This one is obvious, you need to get the water from your spigot to your car somehow.
A Clean Water Filter System – This will filter out any minerals in the water to avoid water spots and washing-induced swirls.
A highly lubricating car shampoo – The more lubrication the car shampoo has, the less friction on the surface while you wash! Less friction means a lower risk of washing-induced swirls. Our Bodyworks Shampoo has incredible lubricity to give you the safest wash possible!
Drying towels – It is very important that all the water be removed once you are done washing to prevent dust or dirt from sticking to the surface and further reduce the risk of water spots. Any drying towels you use need to be highly absorbent and extremely soft, like the Cobra Guzzler Towels!
