The Griot’s Garage G8 Mini Random Orbital Polisher is designed to fit firmly and easily in the palm of your hand with its small frame and double-shot rubber for top of the line comfort. The grip is ergonomic and is outlined to accommodate four fingers. The 6-speed dial is accessibly located so that it works for both right-hand and left-hand users. When the polisher is not in use, simply put it on its back and have it rest on specialty designed rest pads.
This polisher is all about the power… the increased power! With 700 watts, there is a 191% increase in power from the previous 3” Random Orbital. Plus, there’s a 60% increase in orbit, going from a 5mm orbit to an 8mm. The Griot’s Garage G8 Mini Random Orbital Polisher reaches 2,000 to 6,400 orbits per minute thanks to its 6-speed settings and fan-cooled counterbalance. The speed trigger throttle comes with a trigger lock, so that you can give your finger a break as you polish your way around your car’s body panels.
The Griot’s Garage G8 Random Orbital Polisher comes with a 3” backing plate and a 2” inch backing plate so that you can do the best job possible on your paint correction efforts. The 3” backing pad is ventilated, which reduces heat on the surface of the pad, minimizing the risk of damage to the surface of your car while decreasing pad wear and tear. No one likes having to have bulky cords lying around, causing a tripping hazard and an eye sore. With the Griot’s Garage G8 mini Random Orbital Polisher you don’t have to worry about either of those things because this polisher comes with a 10-foot, quick-connect, rubber power cord. When you’re done working simply disconnect the cord from the polisher and wind it up for quick and easy storage.
